The Farmstand takes place in the historic Cowell Ranch Hay Barn, located near the base of campus just below the UCSC Farm.

The Center for Agroecology's organic Farmstand returns to the Cowell Ranch Hay Barn on the UC Santa Cruz campus starting June 22. Organic vegetables, fruit, and flowers grown at the UCSC Farm and Chadwick Garden will be available for purchase on Wednesdays from noon to 5pm and Fridays from 11am to 3pm through November 2022.

Early season Farmstand offerings will include organically grown blueberries, strawberries, green onions, lettuce, arugula, salad mix, spinach, bok choi and swiss chard. As the season progresses, shoppers can look forward to heirloom and dry-farmed tomatoes, sweet corn, broccoli, potatoes, sweet and hot peppers, apples, cucumbers, basil, winter squash, and much more. All the produce is organically grown at UCSC by Center for Agroecology staff and students. The Farmstand is open to the campus and broader community, with sales directly supporting the center's educational programs and mission of advancing agroecology and equitable food systems.

Accepted forms of payment include credit cards, cash, check, and EBT payments. If paying with a card, please bring a smart device to pay for your produce via our online payment system. Visitors to the UC Santa Cruz campus must fill out the COVID-19 Symptom Questionnaire before arriving on campus each day campus is accessed.
