Ways to Give

Donations are essential for the Center’s continued growth and development, and our ongoing innovation and creativity as a leader in sustainable agriculture and food systems. Although we receive a small amount of public funding, most of our research, education, and public service work is funded through donor gifts, grants, fees, and sales from our Farm & Garden sites.

Farm & Garden Video Project Donations

Starting in January 2021, we will embark on a full year of filming at the Farm & Garden to capture the core garden-based and field-based demonstrations as well as organic crop videos filmed from seed to harvest. This video project will allow us to bring this training to exponentially more people through online classes, short courses, workshops, and stand-alone “how-to” videos for gardeners and farmers internationally.

Foodways Fund

The Center for Agroecology's Foodways Fund will support our experiential student food production, distribution, preparation, and service model for advancing food access from the field to fork. Donations support our student staffing as well as supplies that benefit our "Cowell Coffee Shop: For The Peoples" basic needs center to ensure we can continue to advance culturally diverse, organic, and sustainable food ways that partner with our campus Resource Centers, Slug Support Pantry, and other basic needs partners.
