Produce, Flower, and Plant Sales

Help support our mission and educational programs by purchasing Farm & Garden produce.

The university requires that all visitors must complete the COVID-19 Symptom Check Questionnaire before arriving onto campus each day campus is accessed. The questionnaire will require visitors to submit a Center for Agroecology staff member's email address to send communications to. Please use agroecology@ucsc.edu unless instructed otherwise by a Center of Agroecology staff member.

The 30-acre UCSC Farm and 3-acre Alan Chadwick Garden produce an abundance of organically grown produce, herbs and flowers. Crops grown by Center for Agroecology staff and students are available at several outlets. Proceeds from produce, flower and plant sales support the UCSC Farm & Garden facilities and the Center's Apprenticeship training course in organic farming and gardening.

Farmstand

Our Farmstand is open to all and features organic vegetables, fruit, herbs and flowers grown at the UCSC Farm and Chadwick Garden. Find the Farmstand at the Cowell Ranch Hay Barn near the base of campus every Wednesday from 12pm to 5pm and Friday from 11am to 3pm, starting in June and continuing through November, 2022. Check our events calendar for more information, or email agroecology@ucsc.edu.

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)

The Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) project offers shareholders a box of fresh organic produce from the Farm & Garden each week. Shareholders pay upfront or in installments for an entire season's worth of produce.

Produce Pop-Up

The UCSC Farm also provides low cost produce to the Organic Produce Pop-Up stands during the academic year, and provides produce directly to campus food pantries through the UCSC Basic Needs program. Check the Events page for a schedule of Produce Pop-Ups.

Flower Sales

We currently offer flowers for sale in bulk for the public and for campus special events. Learn more about our flowers and how you can purchase them on our Flower Sales page.

Plant Sales

Organically grown annual and perennial plants from the UCSC Farm & Garden are available at the annual Spring Plant Sale, which takes place annually on the last weekend of April or first weekend of May.

Wholesale Produce Sales

Sales (both direct and wholesale) of organic produce can be arranged by contacting Darryl Wong at 831.459-3604, or by email.
